Computer Shopper: Four stars out of five
 An "unsual barebones PC" had the editors of the British IT magazine Computer Shopper in their test labs. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN68PTG6 Deluxe that is "still good value" is packed with features such as bluetooth, wifi and a HDMI output on the rear allowing for playback of high definition content. The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN68PTG6 Deluxe is "best suited to media centre use," explain the editors of the British computer magazine Computer Shopper. Sporting the new G6 case design, the SN68PTG6 Deluxe is ready for AMD AM2 processors while banking on the nForce 630a chipset with GeForce 7050PV graphics engine. The latter takes care of playback of next generation media such as Blu-ray discs thanks to its "HDCP-compliant HDMI output" which is "a real advantage," according to Computer Shopper.
Furthermore, a PCI-Express 16x slot is available to fit additional graphics cards for enhanced performance. "Behind the front panel, there's room for a hard disk, a DVD writer (which sits behind the top flap) and a second 3½in drive, such as a second hard disk, a media card reader or floppy drive," the editors described the internal layout. A built-in 300W PSU powers up the whole system that is "extremely quiet" when running. Especially striking features are its fingerprint reader located behind a flip-down door on the bottom of the front panel for advanced data security. Next to this sits a USB 2.0 Speed-Link port that easily connects the SN68PTG6 Deluxe to another computer to share data with.
